| The construction area of the Folklore Park is 1.6 hectare that was built in July 1984 by the Taichung Municipal Government with NT dollars 45 million (of which the Wen Yin Foundation donated 25 million). There are Folklore hall, Taiwan Folklore Cultural Products Hall, and Handicraft Hall as the major, while the Handicraft Square, Folklore Square as the minor. The flowers and trees are planted in the gardens among the buildings where the scenery is made and cut stones are decorated. The visitors may stand by the pond to watch the water lily and fish. This is a land with both the collecting cultural products and recreation functions. |
